This policy covers peruze.in (“Peruze”, “we”) and the videos we publish on our YouTube channels. It says what we collect, what the services we use collect, and what we do not do.
What we collect
Visit counts. We count page views, and clicks on email, phone and WhatsApp links, with Plausible Analytics running on our own server. It sets no cookies and stores no personal profile. Your IP address is used only to tell one visit from another on the same day and is not stored.
What you send us. If you leave a comment, subscribe by email or write to us, we keep what you submit (such as your name, email address and message) to reply, to show your comment, or to send the posts you asked for. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Services that load on this site
- YouTube. Video lessons are embedded from YouTube. When you play or load an embedded video, YouTube (Google) may set cookies and collect data under the Google Privacy Policy.
- Optimole. Images are served through Optimole’s image service, which receives your IP address and browser details to deliver them.
- Jetpack and Akismet (Automattic). Email subscriptions run through Jetpack, and comments are checked for spam by Akismet, which receives the comment and the commenter’s details.
How we use YouTube’s API
Our own tools use the YouTube Data API only to upload our videos to our own YouTube channels (@peruze-in and @chittalab). They do not access, collect, store or share any data about visitors to this site or about any other YouTube user. Our use of YouTube is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can review or revoke access granted to any app in your Google account permissions.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent personal data, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
